Today my heart is very heavy and broken. I have learned within an hour that 2 of dearest friends from high school died within a year of each other. Leslie Brooke Davis (Bzdawka) and Cory Lane Feaser. They were both irreplaceable and helped save my life in more ways and times than I can count. Words cannot express my pain and shock at the moment.
Leslie taught me so much. She cared for me and loved me when I was alone in this world. She was there for me in the darkest days of my high school, when I was without a family and alone in this world. Her family welcomed me into their home and took care of me. Her heart was huge and she was a loyal friend. I will always remember my first party was her Halloween party at her home. It was so much fun. I never thought she would go so young. I am deeply saddened that I will never hear her laugh again or to share in our special memories that we shared.

Cory took his own life. I wish I would have known that he was so down. I would have tried to help. I had no idea he was in such pain. Cory and I spent many hours laughing, singing and playing guitar together. Those memories are closer to my heart and more precious than ever. He was such a good person and loved me without judgment.

Please don't get so caught up in your own life that you forget to check in with those who have meant so much to you. Tell them you love and appreciate their place in your life before you can't.

Thank you both for being my dearest friends and I cherish all the fun times we had. I will miss you deeply. I would not be who I am without the both of you and the love you gave me.

Rest in Peace my dear friends.
