Q: This is my first visit to the website. How do I login?

A: Please click on "Join Here" in the login box at the top right on the home page. Then find and click on the year you graduated and then find and click on your name to set up your free member account. Provide your email address and create a password (which you can change at any time). And your married name, if applicable, along with contact information. Only the site administrators can view your Contact Information details. You can also fill in your Profile where you can enter additional personal information such as spouse name, kids and grandkids, etc. Profile information is viewable by registered and logged in classmates - but not by outsiders, search engines, etc.

Q: What if I didn't graduate from Crawford but attended there briefly? Or if I went to Horace Mann Jr. High or another neighbor middle school but moved away? Can I still join the website?

A: Absolutely!  We consider any attendee of Crawford, Horace Mann, or a sister elementary school, a classmate - we are all about reconnecting with old friends!

Q: I lost my yearbook. Can I buy another Centaur?

A: Email Kelcie Butcher, Crawford Yearbook Advisor at  kbutcher@sandi.net. Alternatively, go to Ebay.com and do a search for yearbooks. In addition, www.classmates.com now has some yearbooks online for viewing and apparently you can purchase them as well. Good luck!

Q: How is John Fry connected with the Crawford Foundation/Alumni Association?

A: John Fry is an alum, just like you. He is a graduate of the Class of 1962 and provides a valuable service to those interested in nostalgia from the late 1950's through the mid 1970's. You can visit his website at www.johnfry.com and then click on the Crawford High School link. Although John was once a member of the Crawford Foundation, he is now an independent publisher of his own quarterly alumni subscription newsletter, and is no longer affiliated with the Crawford Foundation.

Q: I'm interested in helping with the Crawford Foundation and possibly becoming a board member.  How can I go about that?

A: Great!  We always welcome help from classmates. If you are interested in joining the Crawford Foundation and becoming a board member, come to one of our meetings. We meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 4:30pm in the Crawford Library (excluding July, August and December). Come and join us and see how it works.

Q: Why aren't there senior photos for each classmate or photos of the teachers?

A: We would like to upload all 30,000+ classmate senior yearbook photos and the numerous photos of all the teachers, it is very time consuming.  However, we will be adding them as time allows. Please enjoy the numerous photos in the Centaur Memories and a few other places around the site (please note, you must be logged in to view these pages).

>>HELP NEEDED!<<  Would you like to volunteer and help us with the senior yearbook photos? It's easy and you can do it from home! Send us an email for details. crawford.database@yahoo.com

Q: Is there an office for the Crawford Alumni Association on the Crawford campus?

A: No, not anymore. We had a small space in the administration building but the school needed it for storage.  We're hoping that when the school is renovated, we will have a designated space.

Q: Is there memorabilia available for viewing or loans for reunions?

A: This is definitely on our radar but we don't have enough memorabilia to start a collection. To our knowledge the Crawford campus does not house or keep such items around. Colts, please consider donating your memorabilia (anything with our CHS insignia, uniforms, rally ribbons, pictures, videos, etc), to the Crawford Alumni Association.

Q: Do the public or other classmates/faculty have access to my email address?

A: No. To protect your privacy, your email address is stored only within the website, so Classmates/Faculty can send you a message. You can decide who you want to provide your own email address to. To check if you've received new messages, click on the "Message Area" under the Member Functions menu in the side column.

Q: How will I receive messages from the website?

A: Messages are sent to all classmates/faculty in our database who have email addresses even if a classmate has not yet joined our site. Email messages are sent to you from: noreply@classcreator.net so please add this email address to your Address Book or spam filter's Approved List.

Q: What are some examples of the emails that I might receive from the Alumni Association?

A: From time to time, we will send out notification emails entitled Crawford Colt Connection Newsletter about new website features, details about upcoming Crawford events, general announcements affecting classmates and faculty, and other important news. But we won't bombard you. In addition, you may occasionally receive an automatic email reminding you to update your Owner Profile. It's a good reminder to come back to the site, add anything you'd like, check out any new features and check in with old friends and faculty.

Q: Does Class Creator rent, sell or in any way profit from having our names, addresses, and personal information?

A: Absolutely NOT! Class Creator does not rent or sell any classmate or faculty information or engage in any marketing or solicitation to its registered participants. All personal contact information is held strictly confidential. Class Creator does not display banner ads, pop-up windows, and does not send spam mail of any kind.

Q: Does Crawford Alumni Association and Foundation rent, sell or in any way profit from having our names, addresses, and personal information?

A: No.
