Share a true miracle that happened to you!

I (yes, me, the total 110% non-jock who had never played Pop Warner or touched a football tee) won a field goal kicking contest during Charger halftime at Qualcomm in 1992, sending us to the Pro Bowl and 4 nights on Waikiki in February 1993.

Interested in formal reunions or other casual get-togethers. We were overseas until Nov 2012. We just finished our 30-year translation project and have come back to San Diego... we'll see what's next!

I'm gonna miss you, Tony!

Our class was huge and Tony was one of those guys I "knew" but didn't really know. But I remember him, his blonde surfer hair, and his smile.

Fast forward 45 years and in the lead-up to the reunion Tony was one of the ones I (re)connected with. I enjoyed lots of great lunches with him, and lots of great conversations, touching on some pretty deep and personal areas. I was very touched he opened himself up and let me into all that.

Tony was a great guy... smiling, friendly and full of faith right through it all.

I'm sorry he's gone, but thankful his days of sickness are over. RIP Tony! See  you on the other side.

One of my favorite English teachers (and I had lots of amazing ones!)... one of my favorite teachers, period.

She was interesting and goofy and inspiring. She made us work but made if fun and rewarding. One of my best and most-often retold high school stories was from her class in the 69-70 school year.
