My wife and I, the hard core San Diegans, moved to Mid Missouri to be closer to 3 of our grandkids and find a better place to retire to. Our home is a stone's throw from the Lake of the Ozarks and the tree lined syreet is the view from our driveway.

Life is slow and relaxed and I'm very close to retirement. I volunteer at the local hospital and my wife and I are the youngest volunteers there!
From our home, we often take road trips to visit the beautiful countryside, various historical landmarks, cemetaries, racetracks,etc. We travel often and watching the weather is my new favorite, hobby. Especially now in the tornado season.
